Fear is the basis for all states that we seek to avoid, label as negative, or that lead us to believe that the non-physical / spirit is a better place to be. The Holy Spirit is God. Courage is a result of mindfulness; it is one’s decision to fight despite one’s fears. Philosophically, the two nouns differ in meaning. One of the best ways I know to understand our struggles with fear is turn to literature and read what others have written about it. If you are going through something bad, try to find a purpose in it.
